12-12.30pm Project Soul High-energy, dynamic street dance performed by one of Vancouver’s leading urban dance crews.
International Village Mall, 88 West Pender St

1-1.30pm Youth Bhangra Blast Students from Windermere Secondary School hit the street for an exuberant bhangra routine created with South Asian Arts.
Vancouver Art Gallery South Plaza, Robson St between Howe and Hornby

1.30-4.30pm Robson Square Salsa A special IDD edition of a Vancouver summer favourite, featuring a salsa demonstration, lesson and social: all welcome!

3-3.30pm Polymer Dance Contemporary dance troupe performs a site-specific improvisation responding to the environment around us.

3.30-4pm Foolish Operations A recreation of the spirit of a knitting circle, Tricoter playfully integrates yarn into the choreography to explore community, memory and family histories.

4-5pm DanceLab Dance artist/performer Jeanette Kotowich and musician/performer Wayne Lavallee give an informal showing of work currently in development.

6-7pm Mixed Bill A shared program of dynamic contemporary dance including short works by: Company 605 with an excerpt from Inheritor Album plus their new work in progress for the Modus Operandi Training Program’s students; Vanessa Goodman’s Floating Upstream, a collaboration with sound artist Loscil; Ralph Escamillan and dancers with excerpts of research leading towards his first full-length work; and Maya Tenzer with a brand new solo in development.
