Lights of Hope とは、ダウンタウンにある St. Paul’s Hospital で開催される恒例のイルミネーションのことです。
1998年から始まり、今年で第18回目となります。毎年100人以上のボランティアによって、病院に寄付してくれた人や企業に対して感謝の意を表すためのイルミネーションが飾られています。

そして、セントポール病院は市民からの寄付も受け付けていますよ。昨年は $2.62 million が集まり、目標金額だった $2.5 million を超えています。
寄付はオンラインでも可能なので、いいモノを見せてもらえる代わりに、ぜひ募金したいところですね。集まったお金は、病院をより良くするために使用されます！

今年は11月19日(木)からイルミネーションが始まるわけですが、初日は18時半から20時半まで豪華なセレモニーがありますよ！
当日は何百人もの観客が集まり、イルミネーションだけでなく花火やライブ・エンターテイメントも楽しめます！フードトラックも来ますよ～！

そして、セント・ポールズ病院をサポートする意味でも、Instagram を使って、このイルミネーションを広めて欲しいとのこと！ハッシュタグは「#lightofhope」なので、どしどし投稿しましょう。

※イルミネーションは11月19日から1月4日までの45日間楽しめますが、花火やエンターテイメントが楽しめるのは初日だけです。
