ホスピタリティワーカーを助けるために資格該当者が500ドルの助成金を受け取ることができる「Canadian Hospitality Worker Relief Fund」の申請が5月6日(水)から始まります。
申請者の審査はあるものの先着順ということなので、該当する方は申請をお早目に。

UberEatsなどの企業もサポートする基金「Canadian Hospitality Worker Relief Fund」（ファンドはカナダの慈善団体であるDesign Exchangeが管理）が、新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けているホスピタリティ産業で働く人々をサポートするために、助成金を提供する予定です。
申請は5月6日 12pm (ET), 9am (PT) に開始となり、先着順なので、助成金が必要な方は早めに申請してみてください。

誰が申請できるのか
Workers in the restaurant and hospitality industry, including delivery people, who have been adversely impacted by the pandemic financially through a decrease in wages or loss of employment.
This one-time grant is intended to help with your day-to-day expenses like groceries, utility bills, rent or mortgage, and/or medical assistance.
Grants will be awarded to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria, as reviewed and verified by the fund administrators at the Design Exchange, until all funds have been distributed.

パンデミックの影響を受けて、レストランやホスピタリティ産業で働く人（デリバリーを含む）は、経済的に賃金の低下または雇用を失っています。
この１回限りの助成金は、食料品、光熱費、家賃や住宅ローン、または医療支援などの日々の支出の支援を目的としています。
助成金はすべての資金が分配されるまで、Design Exchangeの資金管理者(fund administrators)によってレビューおよび検証され適格基準を満たした個人に授与されます。
Funds will be available for hospitality workers living in Canada who:
・Are over the age of 18
・Have worked in the hospitality industry, including food delivery workers, for at least 90 days in the past year
・Have their primary source of income in the restaurant or lodging industry
・Have experienced a decrease in wages or loss of job on or after March 10, 2020
・Have the ability to accept electronic transfer payments (ie. Interac e-transfers)Individuals related to employees or board members of the Design Exchange are not eligible for grants from this fund.

以下のカナダに住むホスピタリティワーカーが申請できます
・18歳以上
・過去1年間にホスピタリティ業界で少なくとも90日間働いたことがある（フードデリバリーワーカーを含む）
・レストランや宿泊業界で主な収入源を持っている
・2020年3月10日以降に賃金の低下または失業を経験している
・電子送金による支払い（Interacなど）を受け入れることができる
Design Exchangeの従業員または理事会メンバーに関連する個人は、この基金からの助成金の対象にはなりません。

ということで、申請後にDesign Exchangeによる審査があり、その審査を通った方だけに $ 500 の助成があります。
