Mon Pitou Bistro & Bakery is hiring a Baker to join our exceptional team in Vancouver. The candidate will be a part of our pastry team to ensure a sufficient production of baked goods. The successful candidate must be able to work after 5pm, or start at 4:30am any day of the week (non-negotiable).

| 条件・待遇など | QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS – Able to work after 5pm, or start at 4:30am any day of the week – Minimum 1 year of production baking experience, preferably mass production. – FoodSafe Level 1 required – Must be local and able to commute to work on site – Familiar with preparing and baking at high volumes within limited space – Prioritize and multitask in a small space – Able to lift up to 40lb – Express the "clean as you go" mentality – Honest, dependable, trustworthy – Flexible and cooperative to feedback and critique – Strong communication and organization skills – Collaborative, honest and dependable to work independently – Proven productivity as an independent worker – “One team” mentality Employee Perks included! *All employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with proof of vaccination* Requirements: Work Permit |
| その他 | RESPONSIBILITIES – Execute production baking related tasks such as cakes, buns, pastries… etc – Follow cleaning schedule to ensure cleanliness, organization and hygiene – Accomplish prep work and baking to accommodate the high sales volumes – Organize, wash and maintain dish ware and baking equipment – Adhere to production schedule – Support retail and catering programs – Minimize and prevent wastage through proper rotations and food handling – Organize and inspect all pastry-related storage areas – Crafting and preparing seasonal specialties that are aligned with brand vision – Propose improvement recommendations that pertain to cost or quality – Effectively communicate with management and peers ABOUT THE COMPANY Mon Pitou is a new French bistro and specialty food store opening in the heart of Fairview, located at 7th and Hemlock Avenue. Mon Pitou is a term of endearment in French, meaning my love or my munchkin for a child. This was a nickname for our co-owner growing up, and is now used for our company mascot and logo!
