About the Marriage of Figaro
Combining sublimely beautiful music, social commentary, deviousness and delight, Mozart’s matchless The Marriage of Figaro is funny, tender and profoundly human. The beloved story of mistaken identities, lecherous masters and a couple who just want to get married is as deliciously hilarious now as it was in Mozart’s time.

VO’s intimate production, starring a superb cast, will feature contemporary set and costume design by Sig Neigum to match Mozart’s own daring musical vision. Directed by Rachel Peake, winner of three Jessie Richardson Awards and the Tyrone Guthrie Award at The Stratford Festival.

The performance will last approximately 3 Hours, with one intermission.
