FREE DANCE + POETRY WORKSHOPS
FOR IMMIGRRANT AND REFUGEE YOUTH (14-24 yrs)
Workshop 1: Fridays October 7 – December 16, 2016

Workshop 2: Saturdays | Oct 8 – Dec 10, 2016
Anvil Centre, 777 Columbia Street, New Westminster
1:30 – 4:30pm

Participate in a series of free dance (creative movement) and poetry workshops until December 16, with professional artists from diverse backgrounds. Learn about your new Canadian homeland through dance, creative writing, theatre games, music, new media and video arts.

You will have the opportunity to attend FREE dance performances as well as participate in cultural field trips within the Lower Mainland to learn about your new home.

No experience required. Meet new people, make new friends, learn something new and have fun!
